All of these photos are from two days ago, all from in and around Siena. I figure the more photos the better.
A photo from where i live out my window. Lots of traffic, and very skinny streets where I had to save someone from getting hit by a car today. As it turns out, they WILL hit you if you don't move.
This dog was just sitting here allllll the way up this building looking at the world go by with its paws over the edge. Even in Italy les chiens are screaming at me to take them home.
Plummy! I wonder if that's where your family lives;).
The former Palazzo Publicco (Public Civic Buildling). Now it's a tourist destination in the Piazza del Compo. Where the door is, where it's built on top of?....that was rebuilt after the Black Plague as a thank you to the Virgin Mary for saving them.
Siena is on a hill so obtaining water used to be somewhat tricky. The town created this fountain for safe, clean drinking water for the population. During WW2 the Germans shut off the current, modern water system and this 1000 year old fountain was the only means to get safe drinking water. Crazy that it still worked.
