Verona was the last city in my different-city-every-day week so you can imagine how over Italy'd I was. However, once I got to Verona I quickly got into it. It's a stunning city with tonnes of little shops and markets and beautiful to walk around. I was only there for a day, and much of that was filled with watching the opera, Aida. I've always wanted to see an Italian opera so when in Verona... The opera was in this coliseum type building with no roof, and cement steps. It was stunning. We watched the sun go down as we listened to the operatic sounds of riduculously talented singers and musicians.
