HI!!!!

So it's been a crazy few days. 48 hours of no sleep, an 8.5hr plane ride with two screaming infants means awesome traveling fun. My roommates very cool. Heather, she kind of reminds me of you!!
As for Italia...it's absolutely stunning. I've spent the last few days walking around getting to know the area and it's been great. It's not as hot as I was told it'd be, so i feel underprepared clothing wise. Which...is disappointing, and not planned at all;). Everything seems relatively cheap here. A bottle of wine is literally 5 euros. 5!! How does that even make sense? And the fashion is very cool. I've noticed that the Sienese (Siennese?) love their sparkly things. Like their sequin shorts, and sequin shoes, and sparkly gems here and there. It would be Rachel Zoe's heaven.

I've only seen Siena, but thus far the scenary is absolutely beautiful. Siena is so hilly. For all of you who told me I'd fatten up, you may be right but there are so many steep hills it might be hard to pack 'em on.
I will post photos soon. Tomorrow we're going to the coast so I'm sure that I'll have some Ocean pictorials.

I miss you all. Talk soon,

Sheils

6 DAYS!

Hello everyone!

This is the start to a very cool adventure, made only possible by none other than my phenomenal parents. SO thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart, Mom and Dad.
As I'll have minimal (unfortunate but self-imposed) communication for the duration of my trip I figure this would be the most feasible way to keep in touch with everyone. As well as the most proficient way to convey to my parents that I'm fine and safe and eating healthy (but not TOO healthily) and sleeping enough and not spending too much money on shoes, and leather, and clothes, and beautiful leather clutches, or flights to Milan, or ...ugh. 6 days.
Love you all! Thanks for being excited for me about this crazy trip.
ciao,
Sheila
